Yes! All new freshmen are required to attend New Student Orientation (NSO), a one-day event that helps you transition into college life at Â鶹ŮÀÉ. You’ll meet classmates, connect with faculty and staff, explore campus resources, and get a head start on your Â鶹ŮÀÉ journey.

Yes, freshmen are allowed to have cars on campus. Parking permits are required and can be acquired through the StarRez portal starting in July for the upcoming fall semester. Campus parking is available in designated student lots.

Yes. Â鶹ŮÀÉ accepts both dual credit and AP credit. AP credit is granted based on exam scores (typically 3 or higher), and dual credit is evaluated based on official transcripts from the awarding college or university. This credit can help you get a head start on your degree and potentially shorten your time to graduation.
